Here's where things stand so far. After falling asleep at his keyboard, our gamer wakes up inside the world of his favorite game — not as his human self, but as Arc, a fully skeletal being clad in the powerful high-level armor and weaponry of his old avatar. The strength is all there, but so is the unsettling problem of looking like a walking skeleton, which forces him to keep his true appearance hidden and tread carefully around the people he meets. Hoping to enjoy a peaceful, low-key existence in this fantastical land, Arc quickly finds those plans upended. When he encounters a beautiful elven warrior, he's drawn into a larger struggle, and his overwhelming abilities make him a natural protector for those in need. Over the course of the season, he uses his formidable magic and swordsmanship to rescue people from danger, confront cruelty and exploitation, and gradually build genuine connections despite his intimidating exterior. Kindhearted almost to a fault, Arc keeps stumbling into situations where doing the right thing matters more than staying unnoticed, all while adjusting to the rules and wonders of his new home. By the end of the season, Arc has settled into the role of an unlikely hero — powerful, well-meaning, and still figuring out exactly what place he wants to carve out for himself in this world.
