So far, Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler have closed the book on their Montana life and set off for something entirely their own. Picking up just after the events of the Yellowstone finale, the couple relocate to a sprawling 7,000-acre ranch in South Texas, bringing their young ward, Carter, along for the journey. It's a fresh start in unfamiliar country — gorgeous, wide-open, and promising a quieter kind of life than the one they left behind. But settling in proves harder than the peaceful landscapes suggest. Beth and Rip run into plenty of hiccups learning to survive in a new region, all while staying committed to raising Carter and shaping him into the man they believe he can be — even when distractions pull at them from every direction. Complicating things further is a ruthless rival operation, a neighboring ranch backed by a wealthy owner who makes no secret of standing in their way. Season 1 follows the pair as they dig in, find their footing, and fight to make this new place feel like home.
